"Beginnings" was Ambrose Slades 1st studio U.K. album, they were later to be known as Slade. Ambrose Slade originally released their version produced by Roger Wake & themselves via Fontana Record Label on 9th May This album failed to appear on the U.K. chart. It was also released as "Ballzy" in the U.S.A.
Slade's first two LP's did not sell very much but they do show, as one of the singles from the second album prophesizes, "The Shape of Things to Come".
